The Burner Pilot for natural gas and sour gas is used to safely and properly dispose of fluids from safety devices installed on equipment or process lines, which generally operate in response to overpressure or increased flow conditions.
The feeding system is an integral part of the burner equipment, with the specific function of supplying the electrical energy that powers the system, joining other components such as: regulation trains, the lifting system, the pilot, control panel, flame traps, nozzle with fluid seal, level control for the seal tank, etc.
To ensure that pilots meet their objective of keeping the burner ignited, a reliable ignition and control system suitable for each type of pilot and the specific characteristics of the equipment included in each burner is required. The burner ignition system combines the electronic ignition system, pilot control, flame detector, and fuel gas monitoring.
For the correct operation of a burner, in addition to the pilots and control panel, a reliable gas regulation and supply system is required, both for purge or sweep and pilot fuel. The purge gas must be a gas or gas mixture that does not reach its dew point under any operating condition and must feed directly to the discharge head to sweep the entire piping system up to the burner nozzle. This ensures the absence of oxygen in the line, creating a permanent positive flow and thus preventing flame rollback.
Designed for safe and simple raising and lowering of pilots, it avoids the use of cranes or scaffolding for maintenance access. It is manufactured for burners with one or multiple pilots at heights of up to 15 meters, constructed of steel with galvanized cable, including a trolley system with brake, adaptable to any brand of Pilot or Burner. Additionally, it includes a brake at the top, allowing it to be operated from the base to lower the pilot for maintenance as needed.
